Responsibilities: This was a collaborative project between myself and 3 other designers. I was responsible for the logo animation, the final app design, and the marketing video.

The Problem

of adults aged 18–24 live with a roommate or other adults.

of college students feel unmotivated to clean their space.

The Solution

528 Total Data Points

Survey: 20 questions filled out by one hundred participants

In-depth Interviews: 3 one on one interviews

Sensory Cues: 2 photo prompts with four participants

Primary Research Findings

Design Criteria

As a group, we came up with a Lextant Model and a MoSCoW chart to help us narrow down the design scope.

Personas

We came up with 4 user personas to guide the research and design process.

User Journey Maps

To help us design for our user personas, we created a journey map in the current state to highlight their issues, as well as a future state once they have Gleam.

Information Architecture

We organized our app pathways using an information architecture.

Wireframes

Moving on to the design, we created lo-fi, mid-fi, and high-fi wireframes and received feedback from user tests along the way.

Here is our first lo-fi wireframe.

Below are a few final designs highlighting the main features of the app.
